I was thinking of taking mine off and leaving it in the boot. Problem is the brackets are already fitted so would need to find a neat way to cover the holes so not sure. Wish they hadn't fitted it..

I wouldn't worry about the independent service - oftern better than main dealers in my experience. Also if buying from BMW main dealler you still have a lot of comeback if there are any issues under consumer law regardless of warranty or not. If the car looks right and drives well I wouldn't be...

I was stood looking at my Strad the other day thinking that spacers could enhance the stance as the wheels are quite tucked in as standard. Whats the consensus on the H&R spacers? Are there any drawbacks / rubbing issues with them. Don't want to risk stressing other components / wheel bearings...

It would have been better to have normal non rain sensing wipers rather than ones that don't work. Surely the sensors etc are all much the same on any car so must have been some special italian programming to make them useless! Lol

I seem to have discovered my first real Italianism but not sure if this is normal or just mine - The Rain sensor / sensitivity adjustment on the stork seems to have no effect. Annoying when I just want intermittent wipe on - they seem to not detect rain or go mad thinking its in a car wash...

I think 10 bhp and rear seats and a extra scoop in the bonnet. Nothing much you will notice to drive. A friend of mine is just ordering a 458 Speciale and his wife is insisting on a cage and harnesses! - Said it must be his driving!

As all have said very little you can really do physically other than see if you can get some compensation for the delay in some way. I was lucky to find a stock car in the spec I would have chosen as waiting for a factory order would have driven me crazy! See if GP will lend you something nice...
