Hi all.. Have done some searching online to find the answer to this but haven't been able to find anything. Excuse me if it is stated somewhere obvious!
I have an X pipe I bought from another forum member a while ago, and finally got round to going to have it fitted the other week whilst I was off work.
Anyway, after an hour of waiting around the garage, the chap who I was dealing with told me they couldn't fit it as the clamps on the standard pipe are welded to it, and they didn't have any clamps. They reassured me they would order some that day, and I could return later in the week to have it fitted. Well, they still haven't called me back. This was on the 15th.
Tomorrow I am going to book the car in at Migliore to get the MOT done and an annual oil change, and I am going to ask if they can do the X pipe at the same time.
I'm sure they will be much more accommodating than the other place, but to avoid the same happening again I wanted to order some clamps so I can give them everything they need to fit it. Can anyone advise me what size and style of clamp I need to get for them to fit this ? Car is a GT MC-Shift. Any help much appreciated.
