The real star of the Ace meet for me was Ali G in his "Ferrari" and amazingly he has so far gone unmentioned, so I thought he deserved a thread of his own.
Below are some pics of his amazing stead, sadly I didn't get any pics of the man himself. But for those of you that were not fortunate enough to be there or perhaps missed him if you were there, he was dressed in a Ferrari hat, a Ferrari Jacket, a Ferrari shirt, and Ferrari shoes.... I couldn't see the label on his trousers.
He was certainly very proud of his machine, using the remote start to fire the beast up as he walked out of the Ace and into the car park. After a cursory glance at the other Italian thoroughbreds in attendance he returned to his pride and joy and engaged first gear. I'm guessing the clutches must be a little tricky on this type of Ferrari as he momentarily span the wheels as he pulled away? Certainly not perturbed by the company his car was keeping in the car park he gave Enzo a knowing nod and with a Beep Beep he pulled out and off he went with the beautiful 4 pot singing away...
The admiring crowd:
Still perplexed:
And here's one for contrast:
