Wiper Motor Judder - Fix?

Pulled out the wiper motor assembly from our 2003 Spyder to clean/sort the erratic wiper parking and I wonder before I go poking with power if anyone knows the wiring? Searched here and ther but nothing useful on the Denso motor.

We have 4: Blue, Black, Grey and Black/Whiteish.

I expect switched slow, fast and park plus a permanent feed - either +ve or ground.

Can't recall the wiring. Might be easier to test the plug. Without wishing to down you, the odds of sorting the parking are pretty much zero unless you can completely re-work / replace the wiper tracks on the board. I had a damned good go and it lasted about 10 minutes.

I had random juddering wiper issues - sorted when Matt (@conaero) was sorting Roary's random internal fan issues - Italian electrics :frusty6:

Now fixed. Fairly straightforward to do. Worthwhile on a few levels
Removed the motor and motion complete. Stripped and cleaned the commutator - boy the motor magnets are strong!
Cleaned the old hard grease from the contact tracks and the wipers and put a little more tension on the wipers (bent them out a bit) the assembly is held with clips and one screw.
Lubricated the motion (so stiff with old grease) - smooth and easy now - and replaced the c-clips with proper circlips:IMG_1598.jpegIMG_1599.jpeg

^ Yep, clean it off, bend the contacts a little, done it on many 3200/4200 and Alfa GTV’s (same unit)

Don’t feel bad - I also went through the whole process and it made no difference. No worn tracks, thick hardened grease…everything fine. Apparently it’s down to a piece of priceless Maserati plastic that attaches to the priceless Maserati wiper blades…..:D
