Normal on cold day and the thermostat going from 80 to 90 is normal too. Mine uses a little water. It's a very hot engine!!!

this is my second time that i have to add coolant to the vehicle. I figure out it is not the weather. It's 10 degrees out there and the car is steamy quite badly at lights. It used up so much coolant and in traffic, it goes over heat. Do I have to add coolant all the time or anyone precisely know what is the problem? The fan have to work overtime to compensate the heat.

Thanks

I've never had to add coolant to my car and I have a slight leek in the heating matrix. It is very small leak. You should be making an appointment to the people who know best.

If it is over heating get it looked at otherwise you will warp the head!

Topping the coolant every time is not normal operation at all.

My guess is your water pump has failed.

Probably a leaky pipe somwhere but you need to get it checkd a.s.a.p. - don't drive it until it's been sorted or your bill will be stellar
