Yep fuel tank mostly... A lovely bit of aluminium welded up and crammed in; about 20 minutes work to take a look...

Take out the spare cover and cr@p in the pit!
Remove the screws holding the plastic strip across the boot opening & latch (about 10 I recall) - just the plastic strip not the latch as well!!!
Remove the battery and left hatches
Ease off the boot seat rubber
Remove disc changer if fitted & associated bracketry I guess (not got one in mine)
Remove near side liner by manipulating and bending quite alarmingly; curse your lack of knuckles already and then move to the reallly tough one on the off side and battery!
Now the boot floor liner
remove the plastic button clips to the back panel at the bottom and accross the top (6 or 8 I think)
And finally the back panel

View the splendour of the fuel tank etc...

Rebuilding is the reverse and all at your own risk of insanity!

I did all this to track and remove the NavTrac that was killing my battery and no longer needed by the insurance etc. They have their own dry cell battery that has a very limited life, when dead it constantly draws down a charge from the main battery & will flatten it in a week! It also seems they go into panic mode when not serviced and try constantly to 'dial in an alert'
