These were excellent too!84295

I was nearly put off by the “MountAdam” sexual connotation (Felonius Crud reference) but was glad I stuck with it.

Still nowt....I’ve nearly had another month alcohol free....
If my cholesterol doesn’t go down this time I’m going on a bender to end all benders....

What are they made of and how do you use them?

Eggshells and vinegar is the old wives trick.

I think they're copper. Certainly what mine seem to be. Put some water in the bottom of your carafe. Add magic balls and swirl until you get bored. They worl 'OK' but.....

This is tonight’s offering. Thought I’d investigate the mid range (10-20 quid a bottle) Waitrose wines as there is one down the road.

I swear by “magic balls” (mine are definitely copper” for cleaning inside our Chrystal carafes and vases.
They are also quite therapeutic to handle as they feel much heavier than they look.

I always use magic balls when my decanters get mucky.
I went for a lovely evening drive today to Lydd, Jury’s Gap Rd to Camber, A259 and back to New Romney and home again. Amazing road when there is little traffic. Might have a whisky to calm the adrenalin rush!!

I remember my dad dropping some ice cubes in a Thermos and it shattering, I can imagine doing the same with those magic balls, might stick to the eggshells.

I’m still working my way through this bottle of Scapa, but I really like the flavour of it. Quite light.
