English wine is overrated, but happy birthday Mrs W!

Is that a "screw" cap? Rather you than meTonight I shall mostly be putting a bit of Graham Norton in me....
Yup, not a big rose fan but we really like this too.I‘m a fan of Vieille Ferme - they also do a very nice soft, easy drinking red...
It’s Mrs W’s birthday today and our evening is beginning with something light and summery...

Good stuff that aleI'm on the McEwans Champion Ale - fine Scots ale, a good 'heavy' - 8.3%.
I've returned to UK to WFH here rather than doing the same in BE/LU, makes no difference except I was told it geo-ip-blocked. It isn't but I have VPN and my puter in my room I'm keeping (need an address there anyway) so can vnc into that if needed.
Actually starting to miss BE/LU now but I won't go back until they either catch me or the LU office opens, which is slated for new year at least, so fuuck it....
And £1.39 a bottle in Lidl....Good stuff that ale
Lovely 2016 bottle of Sancerre...Tastes even better as its £18 a bottle but when I checked my receipt I see they only charged me £5.50.....Perfect end to my 2 weeks off.
