Sensible policies for a better Britain!
As I wait for my first BBQ smoke attempt, I shall consider some Appasiemento!

C

So now that the Whispering Angel has been finish my next decision is to Bollinger or not to Bollinger. Was thinking of keeping for a special occasion. Then it hit me…There is nothing more special than a Saturday. Policy number two.

I was always impressed by Michael Broadbent MW’s Buck’s Fizz for breakfast policy. Enjoy.
and he did drink that! Many a times I stayed with him at his country retreat and we had Buck’s Fizz early, then a German Spätlese at lunch time, champers early evening, Claret at dinner, and a glass of port or Sauternes after.
Very civilised indeed but not massive quantities. Just right. A real gentleman.
At the time I had my first car, a brand new VW Golf GTI (1989) on Danish tax free number plates… his first comments on seeing that car was, ‘it’s showing signs of decay’
(I had a DK sticker on the back)

Apologies- I think Bebs corrected me on this before and he knew MB. It was an impression he gave from his monthly opinion pieces in Decanter. Lovely thought though.

I think we crossed in cyberspace and it shows how cruddy my memory has become. That’s a lovely comment on your golf btw. He was a lovely writer and I guess a very bright man,
