Guiness right now. There's a bottle of bordeaux breathing in the kitchen courtesy of Mr C senior on the occasion of our silver wedding (we had to open the hamper cos it said 'perishable'

Pub down the road that we've booked Sunday dinner in has been checked and pronounced 'Bloody marvellous' so all is right in this part of the world!

Fabulous local ales. Winter's Gold. It's all bloody marevellous.

For the rose aficionados (@Andyk ) this was was rather lovely last night. Glass corks as well:

So for those still partaking of this thread, here is the wine flight from dinner at Mortson Hall last night. Highly recommended and the quality of the pairing with the food was better than anywhere I've eaten previously.

Au Bon Climat produce some stunning Pinot and Chardonnay. Have both in my cellar.
Looks like a thoroughly enjoyable dinner!!

This has just launched here in Gibraltar, if you like gin (this one is blood orange and grapefruit infused ) I recommend it . Everyone who has tasted it so far thinks it’s superb.

Yeah. I don't like Pinot Noir and I don't like Californian wines. Well every day's a school day.
That was stunning. The big turn around for me. The sommelier was fantastic as well. Really enthusiastic. She made me feel very old!

Umm, wow?

Picked this up in The Walsingham Deli on the off chance. My word. It's like Lagavullin in a dinner jacket....
