Had a great chat with the girls this weekend on the differences between Northern Soul and Motown and had got some great tracks out for comparison. We came to the conclusion that Motown has all the production standards but Northern Soul has that raw edge and all 3 of us preferred that sound which highlighted I need to get some more Northern Soul tracks on vinyl
