What have you done to your Maserati today?

Played a bit of car park roulette, praying no one would park next to it and also parked close enough to the shop I had to quickly visit, so I could keep an eye on it lol!

Yesterday: Scrunched the car next to me when trying to get out of a VERY tight parking space.
Today: Agreed to pay £425 to repair the other car.
Tomorrow: Will look at whether just a bit of touch-up paint will do for the QP.

Bugger! But 10/10 for being an honourable chap.

Thanks. Had to be done.

But there is the old story of someone finding a note on their car, but it says "The people watching me think I am writing down my name and phone number; but I'm not."

Discovered that of the two bolts, which hold the driver's side airbag in, only none of them were fitted. One was discovered in the central armrest cubby, the other is missing in action. My profound thanks to a now-closed main dealer for its fantastic attention to detail following warranty replacement of some steering wheel switches several years ago. The *****.

Yikes, and eek!

In better news, I now have a front parking camera (swapped for an old infotainment unit which was cluttering my desk), dash-cams and some lovely carbon fings.

Now that would have been useful yesterday!
It has three modes: downwards for curbs (kerbs?), straight ahead for launching rockets, and left and right for cross-eyed people. I'm counting on it to remove my excuses for scraping my front splitter.

On which note, the front splitter for a Vantage GT8 is (wait for it... drum roll)

£28.5k.

I have the most relaxed GT..in the world...

Just spent the last hour or so massaging the leather seats with a leather balm . My hands have never been so soft and smell of leather...

Another brew and a bite to eat and a quick wash before an early start tomorrow.

Opened the garage and put a timer on the Spyder trickle timer then took the DS out shopping. So many rattles and other noises which make me think what’s next - an engine rebuild ( turn it from a 1.9 to a 2.1 with new pistons & liners)?
