What have you done to your Maserati today?

Started reinstall of the interior now that the heater core is here. Taking extra notes of tips for how to do it better/faster, and not have to backtrack to remember to feed certain cables through before they blocked by other steps. Must say, the second time doing this is far more calm and orderly that the first, even in below freezing conditions.

Had to repurpose my old incandescent drop light to make a hummingbird feeder heater as we have a few obstinate males that decided not to migrate.

I have had cars come and go with the cars handbook unread in the glovebox.
However was haveing a look through my Maserati handbook and it was interesting to read something that I had not even considered.
If you ever disconect your battery you must first lower your windows as the windows wont 'drop down' and as it says in the Handbook
'If battery is disconected side windows will not be lowered,Therfore closing the door may cause the window to break' hmm...

Absolutely. Might be able to get away with it on a Spyder with the looser window fit but in a Coupe, definitely lower the windows first

Had the car in my favorite spa here to do some much needed work. Had the drivers seat ripped apart and replaced the seating elements. This was very much needed with temps hovering around 10 degrees (Fahrenheit that is). Warm seat now working. Also had some cosmetic work done on a broken carbon fibre piece around the hazard and door lock buttons. Looks great. Car is now sitting in the garage under a cover as the roads are a sheet of ice.

Finally had some time (ahem, and a handbrake switch) to finish the job on the heater core and various and asundry minor niggles with the interior.
Two deliberately omitted screws on reinstall (genuflecting a Trident in a reverent manner).
Still much to do, will detail in my rebuild thread’s novella. All in all, though, delighted to have a freshened up interior and no more mild antifreeze cologne.
Now, if someone could kindly tell the gods I’d like a day of sunshine to go for a pleasure drive….
