We'll have moved on by then but we did watch a handful of guys (mostly Porches, Mercedes and BMW's) practicing on the Nurburgring yesterday - we know they were practising as they weren't doing the full circuit one minute they went one way, turning round and then going the other way - it looked rather scary and you'd have to be well harnessed in as suspensions was working rather hard

Had some Michelin Pilots Sport 4S rear tyres fitted (295/35/20). This means I have a set of 285/35/20 Pirelli P Zeros for sale, I would say they have around 5mm left but will check and advertise in the morning

Finally saw and collected the Spyder I bought online from Meridien Modena a couple of weeks ago. What a lovely old thing. And surprisingly, less scuttle shake than the 4200 Spyders I used to have - so that’s an unexpected bonus.

After 11 months, I started the old Maser up today and gave her a good old scrub. She’ll be getting a little TLC and getting put back on the road for this years Ryan’s Run. She was a bit clattery on start up, but she soon quietened down and idled smoothly. That means she’s just about ready for an MOT. Happy days.

Auto. I'm not even sure if there any manuals left, as the only other two series 3 biturbo spyders I know of in the UK are both auto. And they only imported about 10 cars in the first place.

There was a grey one I used to park next to at work. I think it was a series 3.
