from the outside front its the pastic panel under the windscreen were the wiper arms connect through, its the panel to remove to get access to the wiper motor

just noticed that mine has warped, looked for a replacement on eurospares but only found a panel priced at £25 - not sure this is right ?

not sure why it warped, car hasn't been anywhere much during the winter and the garage isn't hot ? also heard plastic can be heated back to its original shape but never tried it or seen anyone do this

its a GS but maybe part is the same on the 4200s ?

Scuttle Panel Enzo. It can be restored with a heat-gun and a skilled pair of hands. This also restores the colour to the plastic, as the white milking is the oils in the plastic being 'bleached' from the surface due to sun-light.

Hi Enzo, If you're going to go for it, I'd add that if you are able to, try to attach the scuttle panel to some sort of 'form' that holds it in the correct alignment beforehand. You'll need to find where the warp is before attaching it, but doing this will allow you to be far more gentle and even with the heat gun, and not over-heat a small area. Once warmed, if being held in the correct alignment, the cooling should set it.

part arrived and fits better but still seem high on drivers side, it seems to be sitting on the wiper motor which is making a gap between the panel and windscreen, is this the same on other GS

GS guys - could you check for me if your scuttle panel on drivers side is slight raised or if it fits under the windscreen lip ?

I ended up using fibre glass on the under side, it worked really well as if you super glue or epoxy it, it will just break again.

If you strengthen the under side too, it lasts.
