I've just found some great new functionality with my alarm......
As soon as it rains on the car the alarm goes off to remind me to take an umbrella or coat if i'm going out. My neighbors are extremely impressed as well!
If we ever get some sunshine perhaps it'll go off to remind me that it's hot outside and to put on sun block

I recall Miles, woody or possibly Loz had this problem a couple of years ago and it turned out to be over sensitive internal movement sensors, it is possible to set the alarm without these activated in case you have a guard dog in there!

I'm sure they will be along soon to advise...

That'll be me. If I leave the car outside, rain or even a gust of wind sets it off. When you lock the car, if you keep your finger pressed down, after a couple of seconds, it'll chirp at you....signifying the car is locked, with internal sensors switched off. Never had a false alarm with them off.

Same here in the rain. Also it has a useful "you've left yor phone in the car" feature when wifi is enabled on iphone/ipad

Technology is a wonderful thing. I thought about reverting to the old fashioned anti theft approach, of leaving the window open a little, and leaving my dogs in the car! trouble is they are so soft they'd let them in and they'd probably take them and leave the car....

Touch wood then ive been lucky , nto had the slightest problem with mine , tho the larini's have set many other car alarms off in underground car parks ;) if i leave the windows open and set the alarm on the drive , which i do on some very hot days like to day , i only have to lean my head into the car and it sets it off , so they are working and quite sensitive , maybe there's some adjustment somewhere
