From experience I would not use an outdoor cover again.

Years ago I used one and the moisture got between the cover and the car then the sun came out, boiled the water and made the paint sweat and bubble. Never again for me.

No worries Marcus.

Basically the worst thing you can do it keep a car wet. Its better to let it get wet then air dry than to use a cover to retain the moisture.

For sure, the companies that sell these products will argue, but it just best not to take the risk.

The other bad thing to do is to put a wet car in a garage, especially in winter. There is no air flow, so the car stays wet.....especially underneath and in the cavities.

^^^^ What they said.
Your car is wearing £4000+ of protective coatings and paintwork. How much better could it be adding a cover costing a few hundred pounds?

Rob - when you put it like that.....there's really no argument is there. Alas it looks like i'll have to suffer a knackered right arm every sunday then! everytime i clean her within 2 days it rains.

Outdoor covers are never a good thing as even the softest one only needs a bit of grit or dirt to get caught up in it and every time the wind blows you are sanding your paint!!!!!!

Never, never, never.....

How about this, I take it your not on the street, it will be situated on your driveway?

These guys do and exterior one, the beauty of these systems is the constant air flow the removes the moisture.

I would have one for my Opel GT (in the garage) but the cats would jump on it and put holes in it....then I would have to put holes in them!
