Which TDLs? I've got a pair of Studio 0.5s
Eb
I've got G30s Eb. [Aside: These are classic British floorstanding loudspeakers]
I love them to bits. They are not the highest of Fi because they are not quite transmission lines and not quite reflex enclosures. But like my Maserati, they put a great big grin on my face every time. (I used to have 10ft transmission lines, home made in 1976 to prof Bailey's design. Wonderful but ultimately not acceptable to she who became my good lady. They were each about the size of a 4 drawer filing cabinet and they did have a home made look about them. Tasked with the objective of getting something smaller 25 years ago, round about the time TDL ceased trading, I saw a pair of their G30 floorstanders advertised at a "fire sale" price in Richer sounds in Kingston. Rushed off at lunchtime from my office at Heathrow. Took them home in the boot with the backseats down that night. They are about 1/3 the volume of the old transmission lines and need 10cm stands to get the tweeters to (seated) ear height so they are a lot smaller.)
They do a very good human voice, lovely clear imaging, extended bass ( but not a patch on the old transmission lines) with a lovely controlled but warm bit of bass boost. So they do a good job on choral, pipe organ and orchestral but can still raise the roof on rock. :)
I think they would probably stand a clinical moving coil pick up cartridge without becoming fatiguing, but have not tried yet.
I expect your TDLs are flatter, more extended and ultimately more detailed. Delighted you have them. Good to know you are a fellow TDL chap.

Don’t forget the Cigars too. Bebs doesn’t want to feel left out!
Apologies Bebs. I know cigars floated across my brain. But, they seem to have just as quickly floated right out again,
while I was considering whether to award a certain member's wife with a 'mention in dispatches' owing to her frequent appearances hereabouts. Thought about it some more. Drank some more Beaujolais. Decided that the gentlemanly thing, would be to omit mention of said member's wife. By that time, all thoughts of rolled tobacco products had evaporated.

Music is very much a part of my life too. I’m an amateur Bass player and singer, sometimes part of the Blockheads line up (still gigging regularly pre covid).

I’m also a DJ on a local Norfolk based radio station. If you are in this evening, give me a listen on my weekly Real Music Society show 6 to 8 pm tonight. Use the website link here where you can also listen on catch up if you can’t tune in live. Be interested in your feedback and I do requests!

Doc, when whatever deity there might be, was handing out the goodies. You were obviously at the top of the queue.
Ian Dury and the Blockheads were amongst the first vinyl I bought. Kudos to you, sir :)
