I'm delighted to announce that Urby's GS has a new home in Cheshire.

A long journey home yesterday in the rain and I'm looking forward to a long and enjoyable relationship over many years to come.

It was an emotional parting and I was moved by the depth of feeling Urby clearly had for his cherished car of many years.

It really is in excellent condition and I have promised to look after it in the manner to which it has become accustomed.

I'm also looking forward to making friends with other members both on here and in person at meets in the future.

Big thanks, Urby. Love ya!

I'm rather afraid that Urby and I are of one mind when it comes to excess speed. I did get up to 70 on the M6 on the way home. Only briefly though because of the xxxx road works.

Loved the quad.. I still have a collection of Alfa keyrings.

This GS is more involving to drive than the quad and was a lot cheaper, too. .

Welcome to the new mint GS club! I am less than a month in but have emptied two tanks and looking to do another this weekend! Such amazing cars for the money. Enjoy.

That's impressive as I too am seriously slow but my car, unless it's on a rotten road surface, just wants to go seriously fast - nothing to do with me gov :) . Enjoy the car

What's that, foot to the floor? Urby did demonstrate its very spirited performance and I was duly impressed.

Congratulations! That car's never been further from London than NW10; hopefully it won’t get homesick.

Congratulations on your purchase of the pristine GS. Further to the comments of it not being 'exercised' I don't think it's been up north either...although Cheshire is the posh bit...

Well, it went to Warrington yesterday, and I got the feeling it wasn't impressed. Mind you to us Cheshire folk, and to the Wires, Warrington is Lancashire.

Maby thanks for your welcomes. I'm off for another jaunt in a bit; the sun making a rare appearance.

There’s a lot of scousers in Warrington, being west of the M6, maybe that’s why it seemed unimpressed.
