There’s a lot of scousers in Warrington, being west of the M6, maybe that’s why it seemed unimpressed.
Oy! Nothing wrong with Scousers!
They gave you The Beatles and the greatest football team of all time

Is it just mine or is ut a general thing for the alarm to go off if you park on a slope?

So, I'm in a male voice choir, and the place we rehearse has a sloping car park. Tonight, when other members arrived they'd announce in a loud voice that my alarm was going off. So eventually I moved it to the bottom of the hill and on the flat it didn't go off again. It doesn't ever go off on my flat driveway.

It made an "I don't like reversing uphill" noise as I left the car Park.. Next week I'll go in my ancient RAV4. .

Are you sure its the slope and not the noise from the male voice choir that is setting the alarm off.

When you lock the car with the key fob keep the button pressed down for another 3 to 5 seconds after it locks and you should hear an extra beep. This extra step turns off the ultrasonic interior sensors.

No no, this is before the choir starts. There is a team of local belly dancers, but since they closed the local brewery these tend to be mostly women and largely uninterested in cars, even Italian thoroughbreds. So I don't think they cause much vibration.

I shall try the extra three to five seconds. Thanks very much.

Oh, while I'm here, I bought a couple of the blue rubbery key inserts from Maranello to replace one where Urby's thumb had gone through; and to have a spare; but they don't work. You can't press the rubber button down on the electrical contact point as the rubber doesn't deform enough. Anybody had this issue?

Ew one at bottom. All I could think to do was cut between the upstand and the cross with a craft knife so the cross would actually hit the contact button. Then I remembered how much the darned things cost.

I’d suggest they are not seated correctly. Try putting the rubber on the buttons first then placing the top case on the rubber. Less chance of missing the switches.

Urby must have like teasing the car, going up to it, unlocking, then locking and walking away again...
