Incredible! Bike engine? Sounds like a sequential gearbox as well - surely nobody could operate a conventional gearbox like that??

Now thats driving! Thought he was too lairy at the start with the back end coming out too much. But having thought about it he'll have been on cold tyres so a pretty efficient way of warming them up. After that he had almost the perfect amount of slip in each corner.....fantastic!

Almost fast enough in some of those for the wing to still be working! a master of his craft indeed; love the chicane about 4th from last where he hangs the tyre off the road on exit but just enough left to get it back...

Yes, a GSX-R 1000 apparently with sequential shift. Love the sound as he drops though the cogs.

That's brilliant Miles.....Just a thought looking at that blue...Perhaps you should paint the X19 Victory Blue....She would look great as t next to the GS.

He seemed to have the periodicity of the car totally matched to the cones....

ou're right with that one Dave......Took my friends Toyota GT86 around Llandow on Friday....ma not be the most powerful car in the world but such a beauty to drive as its light and so well balanced......Gave me a real big grin.....Then drove Andy's stunning Gransport around and it was also brilliant...love it...but bloody **** it didn't half fell heavy after th GT86 especially the front end darting about and Andy's is one of the GS that has been well sorted at the front......OK, I know the are totally different cars and Llandow suits the little cars more but certainl showed the difference in weight.

Love the idea of the 86, if they uprate the power it might have to go on the list. I love underpowered cars that handle well, but it's just a little too much even for my tastes.

Had a play with suspension again yesterday and have tuned it a bit more to the current tyres; it was certainly scrubbing less on entry to corners once I'd put more weight on the nose. Big clue from Llandow was that if I trail-braked into the last corner i had more grip than if I went in on balanced throttle. I'm starting to suspect that some of the understeer is caused by the rear end; I'm wondering if the FD springs that end might be a bit soft (or the front too stiff).

Or maybe I'm just being stupid trying to get a 1600kg FERWD car to have neutral balance!

Well I'm sure you will have fun trying Andy...It felt good to me but Llandow is not the ideal track to get the best out of her...Fun though.
