So why start another thread?

Because as a relatively new member on this forum, I was unsure if owners of GT's read other threads regularly?

More than happy to delete if its an issue - just seeking specific owner input here. Appreciate your input on the original thread and thank you.

Au contraire. The valve caps on my Strad have a little skirt that covers the rubber valve stem. Never see them before and I am petrified of losing them!

I've got them on my new GT-S. Never seen them before and assumed they were metal, so took them off to give them a grease and they're plastic...bonus.
