I am sort of glad they did not road test it, not confident how it would stack up against a 6L V12 Mercedes or even the 840 TBH, best to remember how it was back then.

Bit like Schumacher, should never have come back.

My mate Graeme was after one of these a few years back, then he test drove it and hated it, ended up buying a 350Z in the end, a very nice car.

So I suppose these cars are cheap due to this.

Yeah the Top Car auction is a good one, i have not been to that one myself, i went to the BMW auction, loads of good BM's go through including the M cars. Would like to go to a Top Car auction they have, some nice kit goes through such as 911's, Bentley's, Aston's etc.

He did say the BRILLIANT Alfa Romeo GTV...So there was a little hope Matt.....

Always loved it came very close 3 years ago to buying an estoril blue 840....went back with cash but changed my mind as a friend told me to save a little more & go after my dream.....the 3200.....

Have you all gone mad, a BMW 8 Series with a V12 engine, it is a ticking time bomb, the amount of money needed to keep one of those in good condition and cost in petrol, an 840 sport would be a better option. I really do not like them though, very gangster/drug dealer car. Not one of BMW's best efforts.
