I was “useless “ in a couple of jobs in my early days…..(I know - hard to believe )I should’ve claimed one of the above but my boyfriend wouldn’t let me.In this day and age, being gay, bi, pan, transgender, ginger (!), is no longer an issue. As long as you can do the job you're employed to do, then who gives a fk!
Indeed, and for a private sector company, that might well be fine and part of the culture ( hard to imagine tbh) however completely unacceptable for someone spending your tax pounds!Sorry, just not the case. Several Blue Chip companies I know have a beer trolley on a Friday.

To be fair, that does like a pretty **** party!Does no one differentiate between an actual “party” and a couple of glasses of wine at a staff leaving-do? Typical media exaggeration. Labours claim of “industrial scale partying” shows just how out of touch with reality they really are. A couple of dozen people wearing suits and ties having a socially distanced glass of wine hardly amounts to ISP in my book!

Is politician / civil servant-dancing worse even than dad-dancing?To be honest, with a suitcase of wine and dancing to the early hours, it doesn’t sound like a quiet civilised socially distanced glass of wine, to me anyway, and I appreciate views will vary.
I guess, if you are making the rules and even appear to break them, you should expect a **** storm in the press. If the opposition didn’t make a song and dance then they aren’t doing their job.

A politician lying is nothing new, but Boris's contempt is a new low. So much so, that even a banker has the honour of doing the right thing and resigning after breaking UK COVID rules. He, or his employer, are not even British.
Credit Suisse boss Horta-Osorio resigns over Covid breaches
Antonio Horta-Osorio leaves the bank after breaking UK quarantine rules to watch tennis at Wimbledon.www.bbc.co.uk
True enough, he joined Lloyds and then went on the sick if my memory serves...A H-O is certainly not a beacon of integrity. A well-known philanderer with a chequered past. He broke Covid rules in various different countries which would have attracted his many haters to expose him and force his hand. No doubt his resignation will come with a multi-million £/$/€ severance payment!
Boris won’t resign whatever the outcome of the investigation. I believe his days are numbered, though. And rightly so.
