You could wear it over your leathers on a longer strap. I have a WWII pilots watch like that, and drivers, divers and astronauts all did something similar.

You could .... or could keep your eyes on the road.

If I'm on my sportbike, I know how long I've been out as I run out of fuel within the hour or need a leg stretch.

If I'm the 'tourer' it has a clock

Fair enough, looks like you have it covered.

Some people might wonder why you need two bikes, but as @outrun pointed out, if we were logical in our choices of boys toys then we probably wouldn’t be on this forum.

I guess we can just live and let live.

The finding was , I thought the cleaning looked ok

It’s my opinion watch in the video has been deliberately covered in mud and colouring that looks like rust staining. If the watch had rusted as much as it appears to be, the steel pivots and pinions would be beyond redemption.

Here are a couple of photos I took of the destroyed parts of an Omega Seamaster I was asked to fix. Virtually everything had to be replaced because of corrosion due to the ingress of water after my friend had a shower having forgotten to screw down the crown.

Amazing skills, I can’t imagine the attention to detail and dexterity required to dismantle and rebuild a watch - respect !

Would love one at £207. Only going to be sold (UK shops) in Edinburgh Cardiff and the 3 stores in London. Each buyer can buy 2 at most. I think some of them look cool. Wattie if you go for one in Aus as they are being sold elsewhere buy 2 and I will buy the other off you mate. Predict long lines outside the stores.

I can pick you one up from Cardiff if you really want one.

Safrane that would be amazing. If it’s no trouble. I would love the Saturn one but will take anyone you can lay your hands on. Even if you don’t end up going I really appreciate the offer. Thank you.

Safrane, it’s showing that the St. David’s Cardiff store is permanently closed. But once again thanks for the offer.
