Yeah....could have held onto it til the spring.......but decided to take a few hundred less and get on with things........bird in the hand is always better than one in a bush....

Spoke to my engine man, told him when I left it with him last october I'd contact about now. He'll start the strip down during August and report his findings and timetable the work needed plus my sourcing some parts over the next few months.

He then told me, he thought he had some seats which could be for my car or close model in one of his outbuildings, dry stored for 30 plus years, and what do you know, he has a complete front seat including the base, ok, needs new cloth but a priceless find......am delirious this end!!!

The market is either full of over priced restoration cars.....or off the scale restored versions.......the trick is to sort out a good one in the middle that needs little doing to it and bobs your uncle and fannys your aunt.....

I notice the lack of pics, need a fix man. Have you not taken any recently ?

Bal...nothing has happened for last 2 months, body man might start towards end of next month...happy for him to have it til next Feb/March, when engine will be done plus other refurbs done ( front and rear suspension, plus other links, rubber bits etc)

Engine is in England, it will take him quite a few painstaking hours to strip down as its alumimium heads on an iron engine block, he will also refurb, water pump and starter, have dynamo done already.
