Hi All,

My 3200GTA finally arrived in Perth from the UK last week and now it's licensed and on the road.
Here are a few pics of it getting used to the Australian countryside.

So far I have had it professionaly polished, fitted a new thermostat and a pair of Larini back boxes. There are a few more things on my list to be done, but after owning 5 Alfa's I am enjoying working on the 3200.

Cheers

To borrow a line of Mad Max:

The Toecutter - he knows who I am. I am the Nightrider! I am the chosen one. The mighty hand of vengeance, sent down to strike the unroadworthy! I'm hotter than a rollin' dice. Step right up, chum, and watch the kid lay down the rubber road, ride to freedom!

Looks stunning and slightly menacing on the dark wheels Ross, enjoy every minute.....

Looks great Ross, even better in the sunshine and bet it sounds lovely with those Larinis on it, glad I was able to sort you out.

Hey Ross, that looks fantastic! I'll keep an eye for you on the road. Who did you use to do the paint correction?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the compliments, I bought the car based on photos on Pistonheads and wasn't too sure about the dark grey wheels, but when I finally saw it I was really impressed. It really has a "look" and then when I turn the key and the Larini's bark everyone just says WOW!
Currently 98 RON petrol is 1.04 pounds a litre, I use a specialist "motoring enthusiast" insurer for all my cars and have a policy that covers the 3200 for limited use, requires it to be garaged etc. The best part is that it only cost $560 (380 pounds) for 12 months, boy was I happy about that !

Cheers

Stunning car Ross, you might have to bring it east to meet all its other Uk cousins that have migrated to Oz

Congratulations Ross. Lovely car and the paintwork looks stunning, particularly the hind quarters in the first photo. Enjoy the Maserati smiles and Larini giggles - both infectious. :D
