Good Morning SM Gang.
Hey Guys.
I took delivery of my GT S last month, awoke the following morning to a frosty start With the sunshine breaking through the clouds feeling excited to take the car out for the whole day till the tank was empty .

It was a brilliant day, I've fallen in love with this car already, the sound, presence and the way this car makes you feel certainly makes for fantastic driving experience, its so much better in every area than my C63.

Now it's time to make her shine with a fully deserved detail
Day 1.
Full interior and engine bay detail.

Apart from the leather I've used Garage Therapy Decon shampoo @20/1 with a 1inch detail brush and an Inner scrub mitt to remove the huge amount of silicone based dressing from all the trims, plastic and soft touch rubbers, finished off with some Carpro Inner QD to restore the OEM finish.
Carpro Inside/ Inner QD combo works fantastic on the soft touch rubber trims that have that sticky feeling to them.

The leather took 4 hits with Garage Therapy leather Cleaner to get them looking factory fresh as they were also covered in a huge amount of silicone based dressing,, once completed then coated in satin leather shield to help with further maintenance.

Moving on with the engine bay to remove all the built up grime from servicing and lack of maintenance, the plastic covers fully removed for cleaning and coating.
The engine bay was done With Garage Therapy Decon @10/1.. via a pump foamer and allowed to dwell for 10mins before rinsing away.
Then a second hit to clean the smaller intricate areas with various detail brushes.
.
Pics to follow as I've reached my upload limit.
I'LL BE BACK

Wonderful workmanship Maseratlee with stunning results. Looks beautiful.

I recently did my interior with Autoglym leather cleaner and conditioner and Swissvax matt protect for the vinyls and plastics. It takes ages but well worth it as so satisfying to sit in a nearly new car.

Can't wait for the further pics!

Now after some TLC it's looking factory Fresh again.

Next up,
The engine bay plastics needed a good decon, followed up with some Carpro Dlux to protect against further staining.
Then refitted with new replacement fixings, these are stainless steel in a cup washer, making for easier removal in the future 99618996199962099621

It's onto the exterior detailing..

I presume your switches have not actually deteriorated to being really sticky though?

Loving your work Master Lee, I believe I spotted your car at the Evegate meet, Ashford last Sunday. Glad you are enjoying the ride.

Certainly is worth the effort, even more so when you get the results your looking for.
Autoglym products are pretty good TBF, although I've not used the majority of them for some yrs now.

I've not had the pleasure of any swissvax product yet, it's one of the brands I've always wanted to try.

Hey buddy, its quite eas, the use of either Garage Therapy Decon shampoo or Koch-chemie Greenstar @10/1 work really well for these areas, both products cut through grime very well, but don't have any caustic surfactant that will cause etching or dulling to castings.
Use these along with some boars hair detail brushes and EZ detail wheel brushes makes it easier

Yes they had, mainly around the centre console,
The key with any rubber coated product is to ensure they are fully cleaned correctly before treatment.
the Carpro kit isn't a complete cure but does make a huge difference, then using Inner QD on a regular basis will keep them clean
