You’re right, I should have come in the Strad as the roads are glorious up here.

by train this journey is 6 1/2 hours plus taxis to and from stations and to the various meetings.
Greta thinks you should have zoomed it instead

ALL laptops, routers and internet servers that connect you Zoom are powered by coal fired power stations, and lignite at that! Better to go in the Jaaaag
Made me laugh the other day ( or rather shake my head in disbelief ) when our darling Greta got carted away for protesting the Norwegian government encroaching on the Reindeer cattle lands, wait for it ,, to install some wind turbines , The reindeer herds there migrate at certain periods apparently ..........now as i understand it as a mere simpleton the greenies want us to do away with meat because farming/rearing cattle exacerbates methane to an unacceptable level as do reindeer thus adding to the co2 in the atmosphere, Wish she make her effing mind up

I hope it is one of a number of regular visits to the operational side, and nit just a one off visit as part of her induction. Leadership need to understand how a business works and stay in touch with employees.

We will probably not see her on site again Scaf. The last one I saw once in 5 years.

Morning all, local stuff again today. The offer on the house got rejected but that doesn’t surprise me at all, will start a waiting game now before any higher offer.

Have fun all…

Morning, friends...hope all's well! Girls have a half day of school today, and none tomorrow. No in-person meetings til this afternoon. 70F here and then a cold front and rain...

The boy alpacas snuck out while Courtney was loading hay...fortunately, the Pyrenees was on the job and turned them back around...

Good morning everyone!

Today is our last day skiing and this picture will always have special significance for us.

It's been an eventful week. A couple of weeks ago we had a massive surprise discovering that Skye is pregnant. A lot of emotions, processing and adjustment started to happen.
However, on Tuesday night it became clear that this baby had passed away and miscarriage was underway. Wednesday was full of tears, but we went up the mountains anyway and tried a bit of skiing together to decompress, cry a lot etc.
The picture was taken just outside a loo hut with mirror glass overlooking this view, and that is where Skye had the little still birth.

We miss our little Ziggy. We know it was a privilege to have a little life created inside us. It would have had a working heart beat and the start of a brain, hearing and optics in such a short space of time. Even better is that Ziggy got to go to Heaven without ever tasting the pain, suffering or other imperfections of this world. We look forward to meeting our child in Heaven or day, and are grateful that it's now a brighter place and that Ziggy is with Jesus. It also got to go skiing!

So, we're going to have some ski fun, and we may go back to this spot to say a final farewell.

HapPea Friday! xXx
