The poor lass has tolerated me for 50 years, but I like to think I've improved her mind along the way; when we first met 'a car was a car was a car' but she graduated from an Imp California in the 70's to Tridents further down the line. She knows what Redex is, the difference between crossplies and radials, and unlike the yoof of today she can navigate with a map

She done the course Phil, admirably by the sounds of it, due to her dedication and longevity she can be forgiven for not having to learn to change a tyre or two

Morning all, rattling about in this big house on my ones today as Jeanette was away overnight with Sally to do baby sitting duties near Southampton. The plus side is they are visiting SportsItalia later to collect the GranSport from Matt & team. So excited to be getting it back after last seeing it disappear on a transporter in Spain!

Doggy sitting and working numbers again today.

The plus side is they are visiting SportsItalia later to collect the GranSport from Matt & team. So excited to be getting it back after last seeing it disappear on a transporter in Spain!

Gearbox locked up/clutch failure, discovered a very high clutch reading a few days before departure but not able to do anything about it. However the fault is likely to be F1 pump, in reality we will never know. Matt was able to drive it off the transporter rather frustratingly, couldn’t replicate the fault either. Has had a lot of new bits now so should be good.

Commiserations , I too had that same feeling of seeing GS55 flat bedded from France back to UK some years back Le Touquet weekend , all because of a flat tyre and none available locally .......one sick feeling , but glad to hear shes been in good hands and shortly gliding under your fingertips

You need to write all your teachers Alex and inform them that they are being fined £120 each day by the students federation for taking days off without permission , they should be doing the decent thing and striking through there holidays .....they get enough of them for chrisake
