Morning all. Took the Eco Friendly route to work this morning and cycled the 13.5 miles to the office.
And not once did I hold up any traffic, and even over took a bus (being towed) that was holding me up.

I suppose every now and again I should practice what I preach.

I have slept on it and still not sure to be fair.
My days are full here with renovation and my workshop is well on the way to becoming operational and I have another restoration project looming this weekend.
At 59 I think I have had enough of the full on rat race and I can have a nice balance of everything from home.
During the Pandemic they really weren't interested in me and now they are.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. My usual reply is to quote a Not F..ING Interested price with added travel requirements.
Last one I quoted double and 1st class travel and carried on mowing the lawn. Client choked, called me unprincipled and 10 days later agreed!
Having the luxury of not needing to work you can pick and choose.
Sometimes cutting the grass is a better option.

Totally agree.
This afternoon has consisted of a visit to the Mayor's office thanking them for assisting in getting my residence sorted, picking up a baguette and just finished a1/3 of the grass cutting and now it's time for aperitifs
