A colleague negotiated relocation to SoCal when the USD was that weak. He doubled his salary. Still, life in San Diego isn't cheap, but he did well.

Morning, all. My rooting interests obviously differ so long as Eurospares isn't here. Selah. Also more rain forecast today/tonight but Friday through the weekend is expected to be glorious, with a high of 85F on Sunday. WFW today, but no evening meeting so hope to be in the house by 7p at the latest...

If you want a reasonable amount , i'll better anything you will get at the banks or travelex etc , so long as its cash

Morning chaps , a day cleaning the Bentley yesterday and drive down to Lidl's this morning to get some treats for the highlight of my week , mexican dominoes with the inlaws , Oh how the mighty have fallen from climbing into diggers and cleaning up concentrates to fending off the natives , enjoy your work guys whilst you can I miss it.

Morning all, after the success of the barriers last week, the client has ordered some even heftier ones to stop the motorbikes getting over a railway footbridge into the park! So today I am mostly welding stainless steel pipes.

Even that would be nice , prepare to see red/orange alerts on all the weather news everywhere ......and all the usual scaremongering government interference treating us as if this is the first time we have had some sun.....yawn

The rate has gone DOWN from 1.28 to 1.25 over the past month, but UP from 1.22 to 1.25 over the past 6 months. Today is a bad day to buy USD, but still better than 6 months ago.
