Good morning everyone and another week nearly done.
The last few parts should be here today and I can road test the Mini.
First time since it died in July last year.
I've driven many very special cars but strangely I'm really excited about taking this for a spin.
Have a good day all.

Morning, all. TGIF

Virtual leaving drinks for three of my team whose roles were made redundant in the last round of downsizing. Not a great start to the weekend, but there we are.

Have a good one, all

Remember that feeling well from when I was a kid Phil , working and fixing up various villiers/bantams/ and greaves with all parts collected from the local dumps , tested out all on local roads illegally being chased by Tony Gilkes our local beat copper on his water cooled velocette , fun times and that special feeling when it ran and all came together

Yeah been doing since a teenager first car bought at 13 Austin Healey Sprite and haven't stopped since.
My father had 8 sons and I'm the oldest and the only one that was interested in following his footsteps as a motor engineer now approaching 62 it still excites me to my core love the internal combustion engine :)

For me it was when I first realised the freedom that it gave , it was like the whole world was my oyster with no limits no matter what country you were in. Its responsible for the globetrotter in me and if you believe anything about star signs the Sagittarian in me , with over 8 driving trips backwards and forwards to Iran in the 70's and well over 150K miles across Africa over 25 years the ICE has served me well , Cant imagine anything like that being possible in an EV

Morning all. Got home about eight last night, made dinner, and crawled into bed. Back at it again and hoping to shut it down early. Rain in the forecast...

Morning everyone coffee for us and another day of the fast which considering I've had a full on week in the workshop I'm enjoying it.
Took the Mini Cooper out for it's first drive yesterday and sweet as a nut.
First drive since it died last July.
The newer Generations of Mini are not as good as this one had a look at a sick 07 one coming in next week.
