Morning all

My diary filled up remarkably quickly after deciding we could not take out holiday.
My son is safely ensconced in his old bedroom but had a bad night with pain so I was up with him for a while during the night.
So today, WFH - later pub.
Sorry you're missing the holiday, Sam, but I'm glad son of Sam is home safe and sound. Good news.

Just arrived in Stuttgart. Other than an entire G&T depositing itself ingloriously into my lap (I'm still damp) it was an easy run, but the Wasen / beer pish-up looks terrifying even from the air. It was perhaps prescient that I wet myself even before arriving.
The word is "moist" ...

Morning, Friday, and last meeting starts at 4p so I may be home by dark...hope all are well and prepared for the afternoon slide...

Morning, all. Run club, hair cut (that's a first for about 4 years!) then not a lot. Fabulous meal with Mrs C last night.

Have a great one, all

Morning all.
Great night out and a slow start today.
Ms French drove the Jaguar back last night and said it was very special to drive :)
Got some lovely weather here so a nice weekend outside for us.
Enjoy your weekend all.

Morning, all. A little blurred around the edges last night after a heroic performance at the Stuttgart Wasen / beer-drinking challenge. Not for us the simpering sipping of southern Europeans, those sangria-softened sons of Dionysus. Oh, no, we drank for Valhalla, we tore meat from the bones of slain beasts and we sang until the rafters were raised. And then we got reasonably early nights because quite a few of us are traveling today and my head hurts a bit and I have a flight in a few hours and frankly I’m not as young as I was, etc.

Morning all.
Off to a 'Ball' this evening, ostensibly to celebrate the centenary of my old prep school, and in practice to meet up with a dozen old geezers who I last saw over 50 years ago, and reminisce about vile teachers who have been dead for 20 years.

I read that as 'perp' school and thought well, there's some vocational training that goes undervalued.
