Morning all, got the van emptied and washed yesterday, ‘washed’ involved a pre-rinse and then using a full liter of purple rain fallout remover before a wash and rinse, spraying the engine bay and much of the underside with industrial degreaser and blasting 70,000 miles of oil leak residue away as best I could. Amazed with the results of the purple rain, the roof was like a bit of 120 grit paper with all the years of metalworking undertaken around the van. I did try a bit of medium clay bar on one of the side panels and it easily dealt with the remaining, I just didn’t have time to do the whole vehicle. Delivered it to the independent garage in Coggleshall for a few days.

Today is mostly prep for the wedding tomorrow, ending up with us at a cottage in Bridge (Canterbury).

PM update; the van it seems is quite poorly, two broken springs on the back, oil rotted ARB bush from the engine leak! Wafer thin rear pads etc.

At the cottage in Bridge and it is very nice. Just got to get MIL up the stairs later 4-weeks on from a knee replacement!
