Good afternoon! Slept in til like 9:30 but didn't get out of bed for a while due to nedging. Then ran to post office to pick up my temp sensor plug to find out that the carrier still had it on his van. Grrr. So, we went out for coffee and have just made it back. Still no meetings so good enough, and it's Derby day here...so hats for everyone, not just Chuck.

Good morning all. A lovely afternoon with friends down the pub then it was back to mine to watch F1 qualifying and more win and Disaronno.

Today I shall mostly be taking Alex to karting this afternoon and watch lots of motorsport in TV.

Just been reading Den about horses dying at Kentucky, which seems strange for a British horse racing fan like myself as here you normally associate that sort of thing with racing over the jumps(National Hunt).
I watched Frankie win the 2000 Guineas yesterday, one of our five classics, our Derby is now on the fist Saturday in June. It always used to be on the first Wednesday in June and much more of an event.

As it’s not raining I plan to take the Tiger out to my fav coffee shop and then out into the countryside where to enjoy a nice walk before a pub lunch.
Keeping away from us local today as it’s within a street party road closure area and will be packed.

Hey, brother...yeah; think the total was 9 in 7 days, including at least one who pulled up in one of the undercard races yesterday. Awful. There has been a spate related to doping, but doesn't seem to explain what's up now. Breeding has to play a part, I think; of the 18 horses running in the main event yesterday, only one...from Japan...did not have Secretariat in his bloodline...

I have always loved the ponies; in fact, one of my earliest memories was of Secretariat. And then back-to-back US Triple Crown winners in 78 and 79, when I was still impressionable! Racing, in general...which runs through this group. And Miami today.

Was awakened by the dogs losing their minds at our hay vendor arriving very, very, very early. Have laid in the next two months worth of bales; now coffee and then slow-cooking a money muscle while wrenching on the Coupe. The postal clerk was able to get the carrier to bring it by the branch and called us to let us know, so we ran back to town yesterday afternoon to retrieve the part. Customer service! Hope all are well...

Remember Lester Piggott just got his licence back and won on Royal Academy in the Breeders Cup.

Morning. Lovely evening with the neighbours yesterday. Get some new tyres on Mrs C's Giulietta today (just been informed that e-sure what to put her policy up by over *30%*. Having a laugh!) Then some shopping

Have a good one, all

Morning, all. Work, from work. No evening meeting today. Board meeting tomorrow night and something on Thursday, but otherwise should be a relatively light week. Rain today; may steal the Stelvio from Courtney...hope Monday has been kind to all, thus far.
