Hope the nasty cough dies one soon buddy.

So today we shall be celebrating my Alex’s 14th birthday. This afternoon I have booked him a one to one Karting session at Castle Combe which will hopefully help him and get him ready for the 2023 championship that starts the week after. He doesn’t know about it so should be a nice surprise. He then he wants to go to Aston Martin Bristol for a look and I am sure we shall pop into the Lotus, Lambo, Bentley, Maserati dealer around the corner as well for a look before we then go out for a meal to celebrate. Just love it when wants to do the things I also love doing.

Morning all, @ J28 M1 all day today on the final repair of this trip and finally some rope works involved. If it goes well today we will be heading home this evening, if not, there will be another night away.

Morning all, cars and coffee at New Ross this morning so given the Fulvia has emerged from its hibernation it would be a sacrilege not to take it over (they love rally style cars over here) but will have to wake up youngest daughter who seems to be getting the car bug as she wants to come too.

Morning, all. Bedford today. Mrs C senior still in hospital and getting less connected to reality it feels. They don't want to let her home as she can't really walk un-aided, but can't get a care package in place.

Thanks, Andy K, and happy birthday to Alex! Hope the day has gone off per plan! So awesome that the car bug got passed. Andy (@zagatoes30), like you...have two girl children who picked up the disease, but none of the boys have. I try not to take it personally, as my first word was "car."

I'm not too sure what this cough suppressant is actually suppressing. Finally fell asleep around 03:00 and awoke a little after 09:00...trying to be up & about so nothing more settles in the ol' lungs. Existential dread is No Fun. Rain on the horizon today, and another overstuffed work week beckons...so will actually try to rest up.

Martin...I'd like to talk about whatever you are taking, as a supplement to my copious medicine chest...
