Happy hatching day for you and your brother Phil, 120 between you!

Morning all, got to lift the mill off the base to insert some pp washers to cure the cutting fluid leak! It has never been used with wet cutting previously so it was unexpected. Full production mode later for me then.

Have fun all…

Morning all, looks a nice day so might get out along the beach today

Happy Birthday Phil, you would have been one of the youngest in my school year whereas I was one of the oldest. 60 is just a number but for me its certainly not what I feel - well until 3 weeks ago when I realised I'm getting older. Have a good day will raise a glass later :birthday:

Happy Birthday Phil!

After a highly successful day yesterday, a few meeting to set up and that's it I think.
Early finish is in order.

Nice! I love a breadvan. Looks like you bought it from Ant? Are those 155 silverstone wheels?

Many 155’s had them. Mine did, before the previous owner changed them. And mine was a 2.0TS Widebody.

I miss that car. Finding a good one these days is like finding a needle in a haystack now.

Well we found it on eBay and both wanted it, even ended up bidding on it before I thought to message him, turns out he was the higher bidder.
It was mint when he sold it three years ago, since then the next owner seems to have reversed into something solid, scraped a wall and left bird ‘gifts’ on so long that it’s stripped the paint. It seems like it was parked on grass so you can imagine what the sills are like.

however, it had tons of work done mechanically and other than a trailing arm, it drives beautifully on Koni adjustable dampers. Was tempted by coilovers but I have those on the GTA; this is for B-roads.
