Freezing cold roads white with salt, however managed to give the Pinin a contactless wash with Bilt Hamber auto foam to get the salt off. Only used the BMW a couple of times this year so far.
Isn't our climate weird we can have years without any snow or even having to scrape any ice off in the morning. This year we are making up for it!

Just given the Strad a wash and will be using it this afternoon for my volunteer deliveries, it’s nice to get out and about even if it is just a gentle ride round local roads - will still hit race mode for the pops and bangs

Morning all, a mixed bag from the Andy’s today, congrats and commiserations respectively. Spending most of today writing blogs (more later maybe).

Just heared from a pal that he has ordered a new Aston Martin DBS Superleggera to replace his now three year old DB11. Takes delivery on March 1st, so will have the new reg number.

His DB11 cost him £120k originally (it was a few months old when he got it) and he’s been given £83k for it as part ex. I thought £37k depreciation over 3 years on a newish Aston was pretty good going. Oh, and he got 20% off the list price of his new DBS.

He used his DB11 as a daily car and it’s been faultlessly reliable. Way better, and less costly to run, than the Rapide he had before that, and the DB9 before that. So, a big thumbs up for anyone thinking of buying a second hand DB11.

The DBS will now be his new daily, as he is a one car guy.

Or even less depreciation if you assume the 20% was part ex (if you get my point)

In any event seems bloody good to me!
