The good morning thread

Years ago, when I was about 45, I sat next to a (young, pretty, female) flight attendant deadheading back from Boston to London, and listened to her charmingly prattling on about her boyfriend etc, for the whole flight. At the end, one of her colleagues, who was working the flight, said to her, "Did you have a nice flight Tracey?" and she very graciously included me in her response, replying "Oh, yes! I've had a lovely time talking to this old gentleman." Ouch!
Interesting, I thought Trac(e)y was normally spelt without the e? Does this mean you have post flight knowledge and have had years of contact as a sugar daddy?

I think she was probably Traci, with a little heart over the i. But I did not follow through. Not after what seemed at the time to be a crushing dismissal, but I realise now (thanks so much) was an invitation to set her up in a nice little flat.

You got me thinking, so here are the stats from Wikipedia's list of 'notable Tracies' (although this is quite international, not UK). (The Tracii is a stage name for a gentleman called Tracy Ulrich)

I thought there would be more famous Tracies but that is a small sample size. Maybe they have peaked and are in decline? At least she did not ask to see photos of your grandchildren.

I used to work with an America woman called Tracee-Lynn.

Do they not teach Americans to spell in school?

Morning all. Busy day today after a busy weekend of doing stuff at home.

Came here for a rest. However, no such luck!
