Snow? We're spared that nastiness darn sarf, so I finally washed the car. And bloody good it looks again, too. Could have done with the luxury of more time, but I needed to move the furniture out of the lounge ready for a new carpet going in tomorrow. And with that done it's time to go to the local for Sunday lunch. I'm starving! Must be all that talk of meat on the I ❤️ Greta thread.

Left my wallet in the hotel in Leeds. Good old Premier Inn staff are going to post it out to me. It’s the wife’s fault of course. I was tipsy last night so she should know I need looking after like a child.

Morning, forum, and happy Monday. Starting today with a conference call arguing about pay reviews, then a train up to town, an afternoon in the office, beer with an old colleague at the end of the day and then south to Martin's office ready for a morning flight to Italy tomorrow. That'll do.

Meanwhile, having moved all the living room furniture into the man cave yesterday (where some of it looks pretty good), there's no sign of the carpet fitter so far this morning.

Afternoon I’ve just learnt they’ve actually set a wedding date for one of them. Which is highly unusual as despite the numerous engagements over the years not one of them has actually gone through with it.

What’s the dress code for a Kentish wedding, can I wear trainers or do I need to put on Oxfords with my shell suit?

Could be anything. You can go from one extreme to the other!

I went for the standard Morning Suit (I think that's what they're called). However, I did go to one where some guests were in trainers.
