The good morning thread

I think we are all getting skinned.
The number of people that I know that have found problems after their house move that should have been picked up by a surveyor is incredible.
Estate agents are also scamps. They print a glossy page put it in the window stick it on Rightmove and that's about it.
I have been looking at house moves (nothing serious yet) but when the estate agent turns up to show me around he knows nothing of the property eg Council tax band, Solar panels rented or bought, boiler system etc. The last one did not even bring a key for the garage door. Ladies turn up all dolled up and know nothing. Waste of skin.
Can you still sell independently? Who does the energy rating thingy at the end of the advert, who takes any notice of it anyway?

Bought most of the front of an Aygo today and collected it from a farmyard near Luton. Guess what I’m doing this evening.

Looking on eBay for most of the back of an Aygo..?

Going on YouTube for aygo related tips but end up watching cat videos

We were all wrong! I went down the garden and into the garage to find the garden shutter not just up but wound around the top!!!

Turns out Alex had replaced the battery in his remote in the house and had pressed buttons not expecting it to have over 40m range all of a sudden... We had to take the cover off and unwind it to get it back in the channels.

Morning Phil, morning all.....A full day of 2020 budgeting today....Joy....

I feel your pain, brother. Mine will continue through next week, but at least next week it will be partly in a hilltop spa in Langhe, in Piedmont, and partly in Turin. I personally think the spa is to crate a false sense of serenity and provoke compliance. I shall be packing my squabbling tablets; it'll take more than good food and wine to make me bend over and play 'where's the train?'

Oddly enough, a chunk of mine yesterday was in a similarly windowless cell in London. I think finance types are generally kept out of direct sunlight.

Morning, all. Getting up and leaving for work in the dark - nasty.
