Italy played this game totally differently tactic wise to their other matches. They barely pressed Spain at all, let them have all the possesion. Spain knocked it about well but were fairly toothless up front. I wasnt overly worried apart from the last 10 mins of normal time.Spain were easily the better team over the 120 mins, but penalties take no account of that unfortunately
I agree and am feeling good about not having to play Spain. Still, we have tonight’s banana skin to get past first.Spain were easily the better team over the 120 mins, but penalties take no account of that unfortunately

Never been so nervous about a semi since I watched Brokeback Mountain....Still, we have tonight’s banana skin to get past first.
I agree, but Italy had no choice, it wasn’t tactical, Spain outplayed them in every area of the field. Spain had plenty of attacking threat, but Italy’s goalkeeper and two central defenders just about kept them in it. One moment of brilliance from Chiesa and two very offside balls in the net. Look at the stats. But also definitely happier to potentially be facing Italy in the final if we make it past the Danes tonightAn example where the better team goes out, Italy seem to revert to old flat back 10 and then catch you out on the break no real ambition and take it on penalties. Spain had all the chances but couldn't convert which is what worries me about tonight - fingers crossed
You got telly in Danish Prison?Been getting some friendly stick this morning. Think I’m the only English person in our wing.
I think it was tactical. Italy did barely any pressing in the Spanish half. Contrast that to all their other games where they pressed like Ive never seen them press beforeI agree, but Italy had no choice, it wasn’t tactical, Spain outplayed them in every area of the field.
