Just went to collect the oldest lad from rugby training and having just suffered a 3 hour crawl back from Twickenham in the van I took the Mas....

T'was nicely warmed up for the run home so onto the duel carriageway (70) and blipped it up to a good round figure before rolling off and up to the traffic and 50 section aproaching the lights. Mondeo in front pulls over so I blip again and as I go past on go the blues!!!! Damned unmarked car!!!!

Quick recomposure and return to speed limit while they mark me 30m behind for the next two sets of lights before peeling off to find someone else - PHEW!!! - Was just commenting on Loz's thread about complacency!!!

Lucky man. I had something similar happen years ago on the A11. A car was crawling along to being a lot younger and always in a hurry I drove right up his @rse then carved round him. As I went past, he turned to look at me and put his police helmet on as he did so.

Humbled....I was getting ready to give him the finger too!

He just let me go but was very humbling.

I always look into every car I kick sand into their faces as I go past at high speed.......:)....we were brought up on unmarked police cars over here....can spot them a mile off.....;)

Now they have those horrid vivid look at me colour schemes......not the same fun any more.......

In my first maser back in Colchester I was joining the A12 and a blue Volvo behind tried to pass me on the slip road and get to the outside lane by going over the hatchings. Naturally I floored it to prevent such a thing from happening. He sat right on my tail and flashed me a few times and in a moment of sensibleness I pulled over and let him pass. He then pulled in front of me and slowed to 70. I was coming off at the next exit so just let him do his thing, as I indicated to leave the duel carriageway he flashed his blue parcel shelf lights and sped off. Nice.
