Spyder Cat Section

Hello All,

Sunny day today and changed out the sparks successfully as per advice from Autofficina. Although my inkling was the euro cats causing the bogging. So I'm after either my secondaries changing out for new 200cel race cats or two new sections that would fit a spyder. Quick research shows differing part numbers for the Spyder and coupe for those sections, I'm guessing the shorter wheelbase would be the culprit. I read Benny had done some in the past for forum members, does anyone know who can supply for a spyder??

I have a pair of euro type 4200 squished pipes/secondaries on the shelf I can measure or supply ready to go? Not aware of any differences but sounds plausible.

My understanding has always been the the front of the exhaust system including the X-pipe are the same between Spyder and Coupe. After that the pipes get shorter.

Cheers Zep, we are working on it, looks like there is a number issue for early spiders fitted with a thermocouple ahead of the rear cat potentially. Could do with knowing if running without it would upset the car at all?

I suspect, given that the Larini cat pipes come with a boss for the sensor as standard, that there will be codes if they are missing. It shouldn’t be too tricky to add though with a bit of TIG action.
