interesting that he was driving a french reg car in cloggyland. dont they have any there , I saw one in scheidam in october.

Just to let you know that I've just spoken to Janet at Ace to confirm numbers and, other than giving the Fueltopia guys some space until they depart around 11am, the place is ours. Janet's happy for us to use the ramp parking across the front of Ace, so we should be able to get some great photo's.

Well guys I have got my dinner suit out together with clean shirt and tie. I have polished my shoes. Tomorrow I treat the Maserati to an early Spring clean and hey presto I am good to go..........................CANT WAIT

Dem, turn the battery off overnight, then restart the car leave it to idle for 15 mins without touching the gas. Dont go cancelling Sat just yet.

It sounds like your throttle pot, on the accelerator pedal, see here:

If you do as Cowsurgeon has done, it will resolve it. Take it to any local garage, print out the instructions and they will have it fixed in half an hour.

i have a smart roadster....but must admit if i cant drive ill feel left out with a smart there...so will get a lift of the gents....

Please remember chaps the ACE is besides a major shopping centre an its christmas so th traffic might be worse than usual
