Well I have had the evidence that the Prosecution is relying on and the calibration certificate is not amongst it despite inumerable requests to see it from both my solicitor and myself. My solicitor is going to write PUT UP or SHUT UP........why can't they just show me a copy of the certificate?????

Either they don't have it or it is too much bother for them to get it unless they have to..........I think the latter is the most likely. If they do produce it then I will pay up

worth risking it, its the law to show you unless your going to court then they can produce it in court but my money is that they dont have it

Hi Urby, You're being given the right royal run-around! If your solicitor, on your behalf, requests evidence that your accusers are relying on relating to the accusation and subsequent investigation of a 'crime', then the crown is duty-bound (by law) to supply it!!! ! I'm going to guess that your solicitors fee makes this a point of principle for you rather than any motive to save yourself a quid or two, but you've come this far! If you're sure you weren't speeding and are happy to take the legal costs, then continue to be tenacious until they actually prove their point!!!!! What was that they used to say back in the good old 20th Century... Innocent until proven otherwise.
