can anyone tell me in detail what the sport button changes. Is it harder suspension and faster gear changes or other things as well?

EP, I think thats about it.....which also means....better holding on the road, and less wear on your clutch apparently!

On the 3200 and Assetto Corsa I think the sport button only stiffens the suspension and, if it's an auto, makes the gear shifts quicker/harsher. There is no change to the exhaust note as it doesn't have valves in the rear silencers to alter the exhaust gas flow path. Also, there is no change in engine performance with the Sport button pressed. I think it was only the Gransport and possibly the 4200 that had the active exhaust system fitted.

I just tried it, only my third time out in the car, power the same, exhaust the same but cambriocorsa change a but sharper and traction control a bit less. went a bit to quick, what a car still got that adrenaline pumping been back ten minutes.

Never turn if off I say....It's how the car should always be...

Mabe in a manual car, but in auto, as the sport button raises the revs at which the box changes up, leaving it on all the time can mean you end up driving steadily with the revs up at 4000, not quite reaching the speed needed to let it change - very annoying after a while! I tend to have it on if I know there's a setion of road where I can hoon it, or for overtaking etc...

I wish it changed the engine noise - am very envious of you GSers, must be awesome hitting the button, windows down as you go into a tunnel!

Hi Andrew, On the 4200 the 'sport' button will stiffen the suspension and quicken the gear change. I believe there are two triggers. Below 3,000rpm, the change is no different, above 3,000 you will notice it's crisper, and again at or above 7,000rpm it's quicker again, though at this sort of rpm you're going to be more concerned with keeping your tyres from loosing it, particularly in the damp.

It does not affect power delivery or exhaust note.

In sport mode the MSP is still working, though it does allow for for some 'slip'. If you want the full fat, unassisted experience, turn off MSP, but DRIVER BEWARE!
