Do I actually have to listen or can I just go to sleep at the back?

Just turned up after a crime busting 78mph in a 70, the shame!!!!!

I beleive a custodial sentence would have been more appropriate.

For such a heinous crime only the stocks in the village square will suffice.

I heard someone discussing his experience at one of these 'classrooms' recently and he claimed he was the only 'student' in the room who was able to identify everyday road signs.

I find that incredible but if it is indicative of what goes on you might want to stay awake just to experience it.

You won't fall asleep, and you might even learn something!

A colleague recently returned from one of these. He was incredibly disappointed as he thought he was going to be going on some sort of track day where people would assess his amazing driving skills!

After racking up too many points in my Maser and also getting chased down by the rozzers after a 100+ accelleration out of a 50mph road works section, I now live with the ultimate speed prevention punishment: a Kia. :(

Camera?

Dual-carriageway or motorway?

I thought there was an unofficial policy of turning a blind-eye to anything below 80 mph on motorways?

Dual carriage way, camera van, dry day, right outside the entrance to Queen Elizabeth Country Park, North bound, A3.

It was Ok in the end. Some nice chicks to stare at, and free tea and biscuits so not a total waste of time.

I hope you have repented your sins and are never going to 'speed' again. Such anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in a civilised society and your transgressions will be a mark of shame that will forever stain your name etc, etc. A load of old cobblers; it's just a fine by another name. Next time, don't get caught!

Benny, I broke my number 1 rule of driving, don't speed over the brow of a hill.

Go balls out up it, you will never get done there, the feckers will always be waiting the other side for you.

And there was I thinking 70 was the minimum speed on a motorway. Well, you learn something every day!

Always thought 10% plus 2, so 79 in a 70 was the limit.

So 30, 35
40, 46
50, 57
60, 68
and 70, 79.
