Spacesaver request

I've got a 3200 space saver that I'll happily lend out for the weekend if somebody can collect and return it. It's never been used and with a bit of luck will be returned in the same state .
Obviously it's still a 13 year old tyre so I can't take any liability for it but it looks absolutely fine with no obvious cracking or dryness. I'll try to post a couple of pics to see if it's the right one. I'd need to keep it in my car as long as possible in the run up to the LeMans weekend and have it returned as soon as practicable afterwards as my car is a daily driver and there's some serious potholes out there.

A while back a member on here offered to lend a spacsaver wheel for a forum trip. Does this ring any bells?

We are off to Le Mans in a few months and we have about 10 3200/4200 and the odd are someone will get a puncture.

Can anyone with a spacesaver wheel offer to lend us one?

A few years back on a forum French trip Loz had to be recovered back to the UK after only an hour on French soil due to a blow out leading on from hitting a UK pothole.

Many thanks

PS the QP spacesaver does not fit the 3200/4200

Matt believes it does....see above

Why don't u look at picking up a set of 159 alloys? They should be small enough to fit into the spare wheel well, you'll need to grab the 17's min though to fit over the brembos. They are about 150-250 quid for the set with tyres on.
I would offer my 19" spare but it's almost the size as some of your lot so would defeat the object although I do have a 159 space saver.. That do fit over the brembos....

Eh? 159s are the wrong PCD and probably a completely wrong offset as well.

159s had an odd 110 PCD, so won't fit the Maser 108 PCD.
It's not just the PCD, its also the centre bore of 67.1mm which is very large.
Apart from most Ferrari space savers that will have the correct PCD and CB, as I wrote earlier, as far as I can make out the Volvo XC90 appears to be a match for PCD and CB.

Anyone with a XC90?

110 to 108 is acceptable and well with in limits. The bore on the other hand I'm not sure what the 159 is I do have it on my home pc but not with me.

Hi Frank,
I may look to sell my fezza one...see post #17 in this thread for pic.
If you are interested I can get the sizes etc for you, it is brand spanking new, you could try it first to see if fits ok...

Edit - price-wise, looking at about a third of the above mentioned figure.

How is it acceptable? It won't fit! Please don't suggest wobble bolts as they're a bodge. I'd rather have my car recovered than try to drive it on a bodged up wheel that doesn't fit!!

If its only 2mm then reboring them is easy and cheap especially on the alloys.
A whole set of 17s Must be a cheaper alternative then buying a single Maserati or fezza space saver...?

Calm down bud I was just trying to suggest alternatives as you guys seem to be getting a little stuck, I'm not at home so don't have he full details so popping a couple ideas out the.
But also
Anything 3and over require "wobble bolts" anything over 5 and it simply will not fit one or two will fit fine with standard bolts.

Yes you could use wobble bolts.
Wouldn't want to on a normal set of wheels, but I would on a get you home space saver.
The centre bore is still a problem, but again, the wheel could be machined out accordingly.
ANYWAY...I would not go down this route, why make something fit, when there is the possibility of a perfect fit?
Volvo XC90 anyone!!!
